OUR PURPOSE

• To provide a pre-school program, founded and operated on Christian principles, that can ease the transition between home and school.
• To provide activities that are geared to the needs of 1, 2, 3 and 4 year-0lds and concentrate on helping each child develop intelletually, emotionally, spiritually, socially and physically.
• To provide a well defined program of goals for work in all four age levels that help to develop a positive attitude toward learning.

ONE YEAR-OLD Objectives

These are the basic skills that each student will master in each age group. Other concepts will also be introduced.

Greet the teacher in the AM and say "goodbye" in the afternoon
Share with others and take turns
Recognize their name
Do simple crafts
Play with toys and manipulate items
Use their five senses to actively explore the world around them
Experiment with marks and scribbles on a surface
Enjoy nursery rhymes and imitate various sounds made by adults
Explore musical instruments
Follow simple directions

TWO YEAR-OLD Objectives

These are the basic skills that each student will master in each age group. Other concepts will also be introduced.

Greet the teacher in the mornings
Share with and take turns with others
Know their parents names
Recognize community helpers
Hold crayons correctly and stack blocks
Sit and listen to a short story
Recognize basic colors
Recognize basic shapes
Name body parts
Recognize and name animals
Repeat nursery rhymes

THREE YEAR-OLD Objectives

Know top/bottom, small/large, front/back, ect.
Distinguish between objects that are alike and different
